Chapter 5 : SAFETY
1. EQUIPMENT
- Bow lenght - prevent overdrawn
- String the bow with Bow Stringer, check string loops on the limb tips, condition of the string
- Bow nock - too big/small, hit by arrow
- Length of the arrow
- Arm guard/tab
- Long hair, clothing & shoes
- Sight pin adjusted for correct distance target
- Target Butt condition
2. RANGE
- Shooting on the line to different target/distance
- Enough clearance in between targets
- No body walking behind the target
- No concreate wall at back
3. SHOOTING
- Students should be shooting under supervision
- Draw bow with arrow facing target
- Never release string without any arrow
- Proper nocking the arrow
- Never go beyond the shooting line during the shooting
4. RETRIEVING ARROW
- Watch for arrows on the ground
- Head on the arrow
- Pulling arrow on target
